Going to Busch for the past 20 years or so! Yesterday was by far the worst experience ever. Paid for our tickets and heres what was out of order Sheikra Sky Ride Gwazi Tiger Falcons Fury 'understandable' Rapids Cheetah Run had a break down also. Viking Boat Most of the Restaurants, shops and extra small entertainment closed. Park charging Full Rate for half it open. On the Train Ride: a Staff member made the following comment about the new ride being built after he explained all about the new ride height, the swing design and speed etc, 'I dont think I trust Busch Gardens Enough to try that one' oh I love my job! he said. Then he made further comments which were inappropriate - and he cannot sing or entertain despite what he may think. Lacked Professionalism from before covid, need the older experienced staff! Clearly a lot of new staff as many wearing 1 year of service, then plenty of staff training going on for new staff. 22 Clear Runs after a breakdown before it can reopen a ride after a breakdown I believe overhead that one. Expected alot more from Busch Gardens, IF i traveled down from Orlando I would be very disappointed in the theme park, especially with $30 parking, Please, shouldnt cost $30 to park after paying $200 in tickets for 2 people. Was heading back up to Orlando from Tampa so not to bad but was finished in the park 90mins after going in at 10am. '

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out about this experience. We make every attempt to provide notice to our guest when attractions are undergoing maintenance or extended closures through our website, turnstiles, and Guest Relations. Unfortunately, despite annual maintenance and daily operating inspections, our rides can experience technical difficulties, just as any other mechanical device. We employ our own onsite maintenance team, and in most cases are able to open the attraction again quickly. We certainly regret to read our standards of guest service were not met during this visit and have forwarded your feedback on to out train leadership team for their further internal review. Thank you again for providing feedback from this visit. -CL

Unfortunately the holiday lights this year are severely lackluster, particularly when compared with years past. Thereā€™s only a few sections with lights at all and the rest of the park is bare. The light-tunnel they advertise so much is broken with half the lights out. The ā€œChristmastownā€ portion near iron grazing was legitimately sad with a couple strings of lights up and nothing else. There are a few ladies in costume (maybe 4 throughout the park that we saw) who will take pictures with people. Multiple rides were down as well. The food remains ridiculously overpriced. Got a pulled pork sandwich at the Zambia smokehouse for 16$, which was cold and the bun sopping wet and soggy. The fries were cooked hours ago and were cold and stale. The bottled water was warm (which isnā€™t great when itā€™s 80 degrees with 100% humidity). Iā€™ve lived in Tampa Bay for 30 years and have been going to Busch Gardens since I was a kid, and this was by far the worst experience Iā€™ve had. My family had season passes, so we got in without additional cost, but if I had to pay for the cost of the ticket expecting to see a holiday attraction Iā€™d be LIVID and demand a refund. To sum it up, this was a WILDLY disappointing experience and, whatā€™s worse, kind of suggests that the park might have deeper issues and is declining compared to the glory days of the past. Save yourself the money and hit Universal or Disney for your holiday adventures.
