The landscape is awesome.
The Jeep was a 1996, so kind of old & dirty, with fumes to breathe every time we got out. The trails were very rough for the first hour or so, with my head bouncing off the window a few times. I felt like I was on a roller coaster and had to keep bracing myself! This may have been due to the condition of the Jeep. I think the shocks may have been shot. (Disclaimer: my back isnāt great and I am a senior citizen, but my husband sat up front and came back with bruises on his knees from hitting the front glove box. I thought it was dirt, but it didnāt wash off! )Another Land Rover from the same company was doing a tour just behind us, and that vehicle looked a lot better & newer.
Our guide was great and did his best to minimize the rough spots.
I think they need to retire that vehicle or just use it for the āextremeā jeep trails for those who want to be bounced to oblivion. We do recommend this excursion, but I would request a better jeep in advance by maybe calling the day before the trip.
