What a great experience! I’m fairly new to using my camera instead of my phone, and I often get frustrated with the photos I take with my Nikon. Hunter patiently helped me better understand the settings on my camera which resulted in better shots. He is a knowledgeable teacher, and he clearly shared his expertise. I learned a lot, and I look forward to joining him in future workshops.

Hunter’s photography tours by far exceeded my expectations. I booked three tours over the course of a few days - the Bentonite Hills, Factory Butte and Waterpocket Fold. In each case, it was clear that Hunter’s local knowledge is second-to-none. My main goal was to get to locations I would be hesitant to navigate alone, but I also got taken to places off the beaten path that I would have had no idea about. Hunter also incorporated super useful photography instruction into the tours, and was very accommodating when an unexpected winter storm meant we had to reschedule one of the dates. I am planning on more tours on future visits! I highly recommend.
