With more time on the water, you’ll see tidewater glaciers and rugged shoreside scenery while increasing your opportunities to spot whales, puffins, otters, sea lions and more.

Holgate Glacier

Visit one of two spectacular tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Like Aialik, Holgate Glacier is surrounded by steep cliffs, dense forests and towering mountain peaks. You may see spectacular calving events as ice chunks break and crash into the ocean. Though rare, black bears have been sighted on the beaches in Holgate arm.

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

Resurrection Bay

Explore Resurrection Bay and keep an eye out for orcas and humpback whales in the waters below, along with kittiwakes, puffins and murres in the skies above
