Carlsbad 3-Hour Electric Bike Rental

Overview

You will pick up the electric bikes at our store and receive brief training and directions on where you can go on this self guided ride. Then you will enjoy riding an electric bike along the coastline in Carlsbad for 3 hours. Check out the surfers and the waves crashing on the beach. The bike lane parallels the beach for approximately 6 miles and then continues through the quaint little towns. There are plenty of places to stop along with way and sit on the beach, shop or get a bite to eat.

I thought that there would be more guidance on where to go and more bike trails off of the highway. I would have not prepaid for 3 hours knowing the above.

TripAdvisor made it sound like it was going to be a tour and it was not a tour. I am 67 years old and would not book bicycle rentals in a town that I am not familiar with but I would do a tour. This was not a tour it was merely a bike rental. It was a very disappointing experience The owner said he would refund my money but he said it might happened as of yet. I’m very disappointed in TripAdvisors review.

Nowhere on our current offerings on Trip Advisor does it mention a tour. It clearly says 3-hour bike rental - I'm not sure why you would give a business a one-star review for not being able to read the description offered. All businesses are currently struggling with the current economy. Not real cool

Showed up for our reserved time and the staff were super helpful in providing relevant information and instruction on how to operate the bikes. We took our time to ride south and enjoy the coastline. Stopped at Pannikin in Leucadia for coffee and snacks and then headed back. Would definitely rent bikes again.
