Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Great fun and delicious food! Tracy (our tour guide) is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engaging -- she did a wonderful job keeping us informed, entertained on top of remembering food allergies in our group. We are locals and enjoyed learning more about places we had been as well as going to some new places. Highly recommend!

I take food tours in every new city I travel too. It's the best way to get acclimated to a new place. Bonnie was an amazing tour guide. She is knowledgeable, funny, informative and personable. She explained all the food/drink stops, history and architecture of Carmel. Take the tour the first day you arrive, it's well worth it!

Kimberly was a wonderful tour guide! We covered 7 restaurants and shops during our 3 hour exploration of Carmel, where we were treated to a varied menu, which included a delicious onion tart, calamari, Tuscan style pasta, tacos, honey and olive oil tasting, chocolate cheesecake, sea salt caramels, and chocolate truffles. We even got to take a peek into Cafe Carmel's kitchen and learn about the owner's story and the cafe's history. Between stops, Kimberly told us about the history of Carmel's local landmarks. Highly recommend this tour! Great value for the price.
