Overview
Discover the charming coastal town of Carmel and savor a series of tantalizing food tastings (which may include wine or a cocktail) on this 3-hour guided walking tour. Your passionate guide will share stories about the history, culture and architecture of Carmel as you stop at restaurants, stylish watering holes and food shops to meet business owners (when available) and sample different food items. Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

As part of a tour of California we stayed for a few nights in Carmel. It’s a fantastic place with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. We try to do a food tour when on holiday and booked this through Carmel Food Tours. Our host Amber was great fun and very informative. All the food outlets were amazing and we loved the whole experience. We met lots of nice people had some great food and wine and were shown places we would never have found ourselves. If you are in the area I would recommend this to anyone who loves food and finding out about the area in a fun way.

Today we did the food and wine tour with Amber and we learned so many new things and tasted extraordinary food and wine! The pace of the journey was just perfect as well as each of the local stops.

Best way to describe this journey is to say it was the true highlight and a joyous experience. Kimberly is a precious gem!!! My main regret is that I booked this tour at the end of my time in Carmel and I should have put it 1st!! Not only to spend more time in the places that Kimberly took us too, but also visit the other places (not just restaurants) that she recommended. With Kimberly being a local to Carmel it was not only a good tour but delightful historical tour that only a local could present. Can't wait to go back.
