Sunset Cultural Center

This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Our tour guide Brian was excellent. Great energy, great information, lots of fun and definitely entertaining. Be prepared to eat a lot, you will be full when it’s done. The best part was meeting the local owners of establishments in the different restaurants and stores we visited. Definitely recommend!

The guide really knew Carmel as she has spent her life there. She was enthusiastic and we visited some interesting “off the grid” places. Lots of variety and a good time!
