This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Our family of 10 signed up for a Saturday tour with Bonnie. Most of our group has been visiting Carmel for decades, and we all learned something new about one of our favorite places. The food was delightful, with a little something for every palate. Bonnie was so engaging. Her stories of growing up in Carmel and her local knowledge added to our enjoyment. I didn't know about the fairy houses! I didn't know about the alleys! I didn't know that I rather like Asian fusion food. And honey. Yum. A great way to stroll (and snack) through Carmel.

Not much culture or history. Way too much self promotion by shop owners. Food was just ok and not much of it. I have bee in food tours in Athens and Brooklyn and both were much better.
