Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Highly recommend! I loved how different each stop was and that our bellies were kept full for the entire tour. We learned a lot about olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar. We also learned a lot about the history of Carmel. Our guide Kimberly was a Carmel native. She did a great job timing each stop and allowing us to take our time enjoying the delicious food.

Took the tour on Nov. 24 with Tracy. We did 7 stops in 3 hours. We were almost stuffed on fabulous food and drink. The places chosen were an excellent mix of "appetizer," "entrée," dessert, wine, and in between from honey to oil/vinegar. Got to visit some of Carmel's best - La Balena, Cultura Comida Y Bebida, Lula's Chocolates - so delicious. Tracy sprinkled her talk and walk with tidbits about Carmel's history and suggestions of where to go after the tour, as well as taking us through the little alley ways and courtyards that are quintessential Carmel. She really enjoys what she does and it shows. Highly recommend. Thank you Tracy!

The Carmel Food Tour was wonderful. It was a great way to get to know Carmel history along with trying some wonderful food and wine along the way. Amber our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun! One of the parts I loved was learning the background of the different places that we visited, it gave you real insight into the businesses. Some of the stories were so inspiring!! I also loved going through the secret passageways that I would have never known were there had I not taken the tour. My friend and I walked and shopped the day before and took the tour the day after and if we had not taken the tour we would have hardly known half of what was in the town. There are so many shops and places that the tour showed us, a wonderful way to get o know this beautiful town!! Thank you Amber and Carmel Food & Wine Tour!!!
