Sunset Cultural Center

This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

We are in the hospitality business and were very impressed with this tour! We get asked every day for recommendations for food and wine tours, restaurants, wineries, spas etc. We will highly recommend Carmel Food Tours from now on! Bonnie was our tour leader and she did a phenomenal job transporting us into a different world experiencing behind the scenes stories from the various owners of these fabulous places, receiving special attention from chefs and business owners and tasting the best of what Carmel by the Sea has to offer!

Even though we live next door in Pebble Beach, we decided to book this tour on a brief stay-cation in Carmel celebrating our anniversary. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of the entire experience. From terrific food and wine at restaurants completely new to us (even as locals!), to an awesome guide and wonderful new friends who journeyed along with us - this was the highlight of our anniversary celebration. And - we only went to a fraction of the establishments they have a relationship with - so we will definitely be booking this again to continue the adventure.

Well, this was an "o.k" experience... rather pricey for what we experienced. Food portions were very small and limited. We thought there could have been a better variety offered at a few stops.
