Sunset Cultural Center

This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Our tour guide Tracy was a delight. Her tour through the hidden passages and courtyards as we went from place to place included spots that we would not have found on our own. The food spots included a whole spectrum of tastiness, including small entree, honey tasting, pulled pork sliders, beet salad, luscious tiramasu, olive oil and vinegar tasting and chocolates!! All truly unique and delicious. What a great way to spend 3 hrs touring one of our favorite places. Thanks Tracy for a great day!

Excellent food tour filled with more than just food! Our friendly and charismatic tour guide, Kimberly, filled us in on local history that touched on the town’s architectural style, the town’s progression throughout the years, and so much more! If you like history and food you’ll love this tour! Simply wonderful! Highly recommend!

The right guide will make your experience unforgettable. Mig was such a guide. Her enthusiasm, knowledge of Carmel, the history, the friendly merchants she introduced us to, made this tour most enjoyable. The selections of the food and wine were very good. I would definitely recommend this tour and you may be lucky enough to meet Mig.
