This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

The Carmel Food Tour was a definite highlight during our California Coastal trip! Bonnie, our tour guide was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the area and her passion for Carmel came through in the tour! We visited 7 different places and each place did not disappoint! It was a short manageable walk through the beautiful Carmel. We ended up purchasing honey, olive oil, vinegar and chocolates for ourselves and friends/family. Our only regret was that we didn't do the tour at the beginning of our trip, as we would have wanted to go back to those restaurants etc.. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Amber, our food and wine tour guide, is definitely a 'Rock Star'! We purchased this as a surprise gift for my parents visiting from New York and found ourselves (Pacific Grove locals) completely surprised as well. Not only does the tour provide you with a variety of culinary experiences, but you learn about these secret passages that wind through and connect to different streets in Carmel. The fact that Amber grew up exploring Carmel, her personal appreciation for all the nuances of the city lends itself that much more to the overall experience. All the restaurants and shops you visit welcome you graciously. With Amber, the 'Rock Star', as your guide-you feel completely pampered. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Our guide, Kimberly, was spectacular! What a great personality. The tour is essentially a historical walking tour combined with food tasting, wine tasting and food education! We visited seven different food venues and tasted main dishes, a soup, desserts and wines, and learned about (and tasted) different honeys, olive oils and balsamic vinegars! At the same time, we were able to enjoy this iconic seaside village. We even learned about the secret passageways the locals use to get around the village and access one-of-a-kind, quaint shops! Kimberly made us feel very comfortable, and effectively engaged everyone in our group. Well worth the time and the money!
