The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

See Yachts and Homes of the Rich and Famous and ships from around the world in Port Everglades. Stroll around the Sun Deck, seating outside under a canopy or enjoy air conditioned comfort on the main deck. Entertaining and Informative Live Narration from your Captain. What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

I was looking into the Carrie B or the Jungle Queen cruise and I'm so glad I went with the Carrie B. The tour was great, no boring facts or dry jokes which is always a plus. Judging by some of the other reviews the Carrie B is undergoing repairs (didn't know this beforehand), but that actually worked out for the better. We were told we had some extra time so we'd go out a little past the jetty at the end of John U. Lloyd State Park. We ended up going out much further than I would have anticipated and it was great! I'd definitely take this tour again.

When you book for Carrie B now, their website is up to date with some minor changes since Carrie B is in for repairs. It doesn't change the wonderful cruise or the great people connected with this excursion--just a different boat you are on. We were especially impressed that our guide was totally up to date on the mega yachts that were in Ft. Lauderdale. Since it was part of my hubby's birthday trip, I took pictures of the big yachts and posted them as his choices for a present--not! This is a must excursion while visiting the Ft.Lauderdale area. We look forward to a return trip when the Carrie B is out of dry dock. Thank you all so much.

I would recomend this trip, reaonably priced, booked easily on line. A nice cruise around the area with a good comentry. Plenty of seating, inside and out of the boat. Toilets and a cafe on board.
