Excellent guide, Doris, explained the sights along the way on this historically, culturally, and architecturally interesting area of the city. She patiently answered all questions. Listening to (and participating in) the Wednesday gospel service which was accompanied by a small jazz combo, was a relaxing and "freeing" experience ! Since so many nationalities are on this tour it might be helpful to have at least one interpreter for a primary second language.

In spite of the rain the walk was very informative and friendly. Meeting people from other countries and parts of the US was enlighting.
