Apollo Theater
Learn about Central Harlem during the Harlem Renaissance and Civil Rights era, as well as the current developments of the area. Stroll around the 125th street shopping corridor, visit the African Market in Little Senegal, and see stately homes and architecture in the historic district. See and learn about the Apollo Theater, Speaker’s Corner, Hotel Theresa and other sites contributing to the rich and diverse history and legacy of Harlem.

Harlem
The route runs from 145th Street to 125th Street in Harlem. Some sites includes Harlem School of the Arts, Strivers Row, Harlem Hospital Murals, Schomburg Center, Astor Place, 125th Street-Apollo Theater.

We had an enjoyable walking tour. Not to fast or to slow. Would have preferred setting the grittier side of Harlem but that's ok. would recommend to others.

Really enjoyed the morning walking through Harlem despite the cold and snow! George was friendly, professional and informative. Great to have a local guide and we appreciated his recommendations and stories.

Our guide Dotis as very well informed and helpful with lots of advice on local attractions.The church service was a great experience especially the preaching on the day before Thanksgiving we got a very animated and motivational sermon on what it means to be thankful
