Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial

The stop was chosen due to its proximity to Lennon's NYC home, The Dakota Apartments, which are just across Central Park West. There is a plaque embedded in one of the boulders along the pathway leading to the mosaic. It lists the 121 countries who endorse Strawberry Fields as a Garden of Peace.

I was in New York on a business trip. I had 24 hours to spare and decided to spend 3 hours in Central Park. I wanted to spend extra time on some of the stops. I asked Muzaffar to assign the most experienced driver/guide for the tour, because I wanted to ask tons of questions about the park. By the end of the tour I was so happy that I chose this company that even after it finished the rest of the sites of New York didn’t impress me as much as Central Park.
