Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial

The stop was chosen due to its proximity to Lennon's NYC home, The Dakota Apartments, which are just across Central Park West. There is a plaque embedded in one of the boulders along the pathway leading to the mosaic. It lists the 121 countries who endorse Strawberry Fields as a Garden of Peace.

I was back home in NY for a wedding and my husband wanted to see Central Park. Obviously, it is huge and we already walked so much that day so when we were approached by this company, we were somewhat interested. Muzaffar approached us and he was super nice, not too pushy and was very accommodating. (We wanted about 10 minutes to take pictures elsewhere and then come back) We called him when we were back at our meeting spot and then we were off. Not only was he very informative but he was pretty funny also. The conversation and the knowledge of the area was extremely pleasant. He took us to Times Square after (that was our next stop after Central Park) and he seriously kept us until the very last second of the hour which I truly appreciated. Not only was Muzaffar a great tour guide, I can tell he is a great person after our conversations and discussing our views on certain matters and life in general. Many of the guys trying to sell you this tour will ALL claim that they are the best (including Muzaffar) however, Muzaffar IS THE BEST! Ask for him if you are interested, you will not be disappointed.
