Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial

The stop was chosen due to its proximity to Lennon's NYC home, The Dakota Apartments, which are just across Central Park West. There is a plaque embedded in one of the boulders along the pathway leading to the mosaic. It lists the 121 countries who endorse Strawberry Fields as a Garden of Peace.

Great experience! We were a bit leery at first but we saw a ton in Central Park on our one hour tour. We saved time by doing this tour as it would have taken forever to see the touristy spots!

We had the best ride through Central Park with our guide during our trip to NYC in mid-October! We thought about renting our own bikes, but our guide Muhammad suggested a guided tour - and we are so glad we did it. He shared so much historical information and fun stories about the park. He also was very funny and kept us entertained the whole time. He was very accommodating to our schedule and also took the time to stop for pictures at several spots. It was a highlight of our trip and we are so glad we did the pedicab tour!
