Even if you have been to Central Park before, this tour is worth your time! It highlights the areas of the park where memorable television shows and movies were filmed. Our tour guide as well as an aspiring actress, Kate Walker, provided much insight into each movie/television show that was filmed in Central Park. Using her iPad to show scenes filmed at each location made the tour even more relevant. Kate is a well spoken, well prepared tour guide with an intense interest in the field of film and television. Her audience benefits from her knowledge and interest.

This tour is a must for those visiting New York for the first time! My boyfriend and I were visiting from Chicago in December and had only seen Central Park in movies. Our tour guide was the sweetest, with lots of energy and a love for movies and New York. As an actress, you could tell she was performing and she was the BEST at her job. I was so impressed with how professional she was and despite the rain and loud helicopters above us, she kept everyone on the tour engaged. The tour started right outside of the park. I was nervous it'd be hard to find our tour guide but she spotted us out before we could get lost. During the tour, we got to see the beautiful park with an expert, all while learning about those spots that we'd only seen in movies. It truly gives you an insiders view to what went on behind the scene and how the movie gets access to the park. I would do this tour all over again and wish I could request the same tour guide, she was gem! My tips would be to wear comfy shoes, bring a camera and be early... you don't want to be that guy that missed the introductions or worse, running through Central Park looking for the group. Thank you On Locations Tour for an incredible experience. I've been telling all my friends about it and on our next visit, we will be trying one of your other tours!

Our informative, friendly, accommodating tour guide George Hampe led us through a wonderful two hour walk through snow covered Central Park pointing out interesting movie sites from some of the well known movies. He also complimented this by showing us actual photos from movies so we could place us back to the moment. He was very knowledgeable when asked many and varied questions. Would highly recommend this tour if you love your movies.
