When we arrived to check in at the ticket booth, there were two windows and one group at each. We are a couple with twin babies. We waited patiently. As we were waiting someone came up to our side and created a separate line in front of the window more to our right. We waited and saw the person that came after us get helped. Not a huge deal. But then we realized four groups that came after us had been helped and the people in front of us were needing some sort of help that was taking a long time. A kind woman in the other line waived us ahead of her. I went up to the window and the employee gave me a very dirty look and said “what?” I told her we had tickets for a cruise and needed to check in. She said in a very rude manner, “they were waiting, I’m going to help them” pointing to the group that just waived us forward. I told her we had been waiting much longer and she raised her voice and demanded I step aside. The woman behind us was taken back too. She was confused why the employee would not help us. It was a very rude interaction and had we not already been looking forward to the cruise and trekked our babies there, I would have asked for a refund and not gone. Then, upon getting in the boat, we realized they assigned us a table with no high chairs next to a food station with a line of people blocking the table. Our twin stroller hardly fit. They saw us struggling to fit or get to and from our table and no one really cared. It was so thoughtless because our ticket says two infants. Why would they put us somewhere that was difficult to access, crammed in a corner between a food station and line of people and without room for strollers? Some employees were great but others were extremely rude, including the check in people and some servers. It was just an okay experience at best. Don’t expect accommodations or to be greeted by pleasant people that care if you’re comfortable. I don’t think I would bring kids again either despite them claiming to be family friendly.
