Your guide has the picture to prove it. • The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running. • Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Although the stories were interesting, they were far too long. We were disappointed that we didn't get to visit the graves associated with the stories. The story in the brick walkway was incredibly long given we were standing for over 30 minutes in incredibly hot weather. We got to wander a bit in the graveyard, but given there were multiple tour groups in the location at the same time, pictures were useless and the ambience was lacking. I would still recommend the tour, but be prepared to do a lot of standing still.

Many thanks for the feedback. We have taken your comments to heart and are working on ways to improve the pace of your guide's tour - especially in light of the incredible heat we've been having lately. Thanks for recommending the tour. We will try harder and hope to see you next time you're in Charleston. Have a great summer!

Our tour guide, Carol, was so knowledgeable about the area. She was a great story teller, and wonderful at engaging our group. My daughter in particular (10yo) was absolutely fascinated with every story, and Carol spent extra time with us after the tour to talk more in depth with her. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area!
