Prepare to have your minds blown by this review. As first timers to Charleston, we wanted to do as much as possible, and that obviously included a ghost tour. Being teachers on summer break, we had no idea what day it was and accidentally booked our tour for the wrong night, but Bulldog Tours graciously moved us to another tour at 9:30. The tour we went out had the king of all guides, Mr. David C. Aside from being the funniest, nicest, and most knowledgeable tour guide, he was an exceptional orator, navigating us through the seedy streets of Charleston, filled with spirits and apparitions alike. What was most noteworthy were the stories he told us, thrilling and chilling tales, ones we will remember for a lifetime. As far as our pictures are concerned, only the true believers will see what was really there, the haunted and lost souls of the South. Judge for yourself, but beware of what you’ll see. Job well done Dave and Bulldog Tours! RIP Poogan.

This ghost tour was fun and informative! My daughter and I enjoyed the stories and history. A person in our group even caught a picture of an orb! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was Susie Q and she was knowledgeable and fun but the reason we were so disappointed was because we missed a lot of points because there were two elderly (and I mean very old) people in our group who could barely walk. Our tour was 90 minutes but what would have been a 5 minute walk was slowed to double the amount of time. My question was were they not informed that there would be walking at night in the dark and the sidewalks are uneven and there are curb and steps. The whole group had to slow down so that this couple could keep up. I could handle the children and the people who stopped for drinks before the walk they were fun and could be reined in, but I feel the company can do something to separate those that are not physically able to do the tour.

I am so sorry you were unhappy with people who were on your tour. It is not as easy as you may think to separate people from other people because they are unaccepting of them. Sometimes, you just have to accept the fact that some people will be different than you physically and it really shouldn't ruin the tour for you. I'm glad you liked the tour guide and I will commend her for how she handled the situation. Of course, people know that the tour is at night, that it is 90 minutes and walking. And, yes, if you spent even just an hour in downtown Charleston, you would know that there are curbs, steps and some uneven spots on the sidewalk. Thank you for the feedback.
