Charleston Ghosts of Liberty Guided Walking Tour

Overview
On Ghost City's Ghosts of Liberty Tour, you will see Haunted Charleston in a completely new way. You will view the Holy City through the paranormal lens of those who risked life and limb for Charleston, and for the birth of a nation.

Combining aspects of Charleston's famous ghost stories with the lesser known haunted tales of the Holy City, the Ghosts of Liberty Tour is a never before seen glimpse at the ghosts of Charleston who, while living, fought so valiantly to keep the city united.

Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

We really enjoyed Macy and her detail to the history or each story. She took the time to engage with the group and let us ask questions throughout. Would recommend this ghost tour with Macy to others!

Spent the last evening of our trip to Charleston with Ghost City Tours. Lance was our tour guide and he was excellent. He was extremely informative regarding the history of Charleston, not only with the paranormal but in general. He was a great storyteller as well- making the tour even more interesting. Next time I am in Charleston, would love to book a day tour with him as well. Highly recommend.

Lance was amazing, and this whole tour was a great time. Lance told compelling, interesting stories about Charleston's history. My wife and I ended up paired with a large group of... Less than ideal people, but Lance managed them expertly to ensure they had a great time without ruining anyone else's experience. He customized the tour to my wife's (borderline unhealthy) obsession with Lavinia Fisher, made us laugh, and the time flew by. Great stuff.
