To begin with, the tour guides do not have any signs to identify where the tour is meeting. The waterfront is big and crowded with many people. We wandered around frustrated for a long time sweating in the heat and finally asked a group of people if they were with the ghost tour. I had tried to text the guide through TripAdvisor with no response. The people waiting pointed to a guide who was on his phone paying no attention. I walked up to him and asked if this was the Ghost Tour and how people were supposed to identify the tour with no signs and him paying no attention. He was was arrogant, rude and dismissive. He argued with me then counted ten people and left us there with no explanation or instructions. It was ridiculous. We waited and waited and finally had to ask two girls there fumbling with papers and phones if they were guides. They made us wait until people who were late came. The tour was alright, nothing great. The girl guide was sweet and knowledgeable but it was disorganized and unpleasant at the beginning.

The city of Charleston is beautiful especially at night. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we stopped on our tour. I took my daughter and three grandchildren and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this tour if you visit the Charleston area!

The tour was great! Even though our tour guide had only been doing it a short time she was very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of our questions.
