Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

We absolutely loved the tour with Don! I'm not the type to scare easily but some of the stories he told us actually made me shiver. It was great and spooky walking around downtown Charleston at night but it really made it much better. Thanks for a great ending to our trip!

Lance was our tour guide and he was great! The tour was a great mix of history, entertainment, and ghost stories! The tour was such a great way to explore the city and very conducive to groups. I would highly recommend to death and depravity tour with Lance to anyone visiting Charleston!!
