Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Had an extra night and decided to take extra walking ghost tour. The guide was excellent and since the tour took place at dusk, it added to the romance of the walk. Learned quite a bit of history and it was very interesting.

Done was our guide for a Valentine's Day tour and we consider ourselves much more educated after having spent time on the tour. I will share with you that I do not believe in ghosts. (of course there is a long explanation but I'll leave it at that) . The value in the time we spent with Don was in the history lesson we learned. I'm sure I could have read some books to gain the same knowledge but Don presented the information with the right balance of mystery and factual statements. It was an enjoyable evening!

We had a great time on our tour with Lance throughout Charleston! My three friends and I were having a girls weekend and decided to book the tour for something different during our stay. We arrived to the 8pm tour and found that it was just us four which ended up adding to the experience! Lance decided to give us the "death and depravity" version of the walk which included interesting stories and sites to see. Because it was just us we felt very comfortable to ask questions and have a tour more catered to us. Overall, we had a great experience! Lance was a fun time and I would certainly suggest it to others.
