Charleston Ghosts of Liberty Guided Walking Tour

Overview
On Ghost City's Ghosts of Liberty Tour, you will see Haunted Charleston in a completely new way. You will view the Holy City through the paranormal lens of those who risked life and limb for Charleston, and for the birth of a nation.

Combining aspects of Charleston's famous ghost stories with the lesser known haunted tales of the Holy City, the Ghosts of Liberty Tour is a never before seen glimpse at the ghosts of Charleston who, while living, fought so valiantly to keep the city united.

Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Our tour was small but it was great! Lance told many stories and took us on a wonderful walk around Charleston. Some scary, some raunchy, all fun. I would recommend doing this tour early in your trip as you may learn of places you may want to visit in the day.

Don Huskey was our guide on the death & depravity tour. He was super informative of the city its history and had lots of stories to tell; giving more than one person goosebumps. This is a great tour to take; especially at the 10:00PM one.

My (adult) daughter and I enjoyed the Depravity Ghost tour. Loved no whiny kids! worth the extra cost! Otherwise, the stories were not especially adult oriented, no embarrassment but, I was really wanting something more than the vanilla stories. The walk was a good pace and the right distance, sites would not be found without a guide and not exhausted at the end. WIll do again with husband next time I'm in town!
