Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Lance took us on a great ghost tour at night through Charleston. He was a fabulous story teller and made the evening very enjoyable. I felt like we learned a bit of history too. The tales were fun, a bit scary and sometimes raunchy, but always entertaining. I enjoyed that it was adults only and would highly recommend!

Lance is funny and passionate about the city's history. He shares research he has done, accounts from locals, personal experiences and is a very engaging tour guide. The subject matter and his language are "colorful", so be prepared. Fun tour, worth the $$ and the late night walk.

The knowledge that Will had of the city's history intermingled with ghost stories he learned from his grandmother made the walking tour extremely interesting. While no tour can guarantee seeing any ghosts, which we didn't, I look forward to another tour in the near future.
