Our family of 5 (with children aged 5 - 12) really enjoyed this boat trip with Charleston Harbor Tours. The staff were friendly and helpful, the boat was clean and spacious and the tour was great - lovely views of Fort Sumter, USS Yorktown, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge and Charleston itself. Highly recommended.

We booked this cruise understanding there were no cancelations except in the case of bad weather .And we were in the area for five days and the weather was hard to predict When we recieved our tickets we learned that you could not park at the marina but had to park at the Aquarium in Charleston and walk The morning of our cruise the weather reports showed thunderstorms that that afternoon we were to cruise And for that reason I clicked on the "CONTACT TOUR OPERATOR " tab on the Viator booking site and asked if they would be going out today? They never replied . I find Viator very easy to do business with and as far as I am concerned if this company is doing business with Viator they should be responsive thru the booking process On the drive over we were driving thru torrential rain so much rain that cars were being swamped by deep water on the road.We stopped pulled up weather radar and we felt there was no way we were going out on the water yesterday.Had the operator contacted us and told us they were going out I could not complain but we decided we were not particularly if we had to walk to the Marina from a remote site due the inadequate parking situation where the tour departs from I never heard from them till I called thae day after and to be honest I now know why they don't allow cancelations. I truly find it hard to believe they went out under the circumstances we experienced. I write this out out principle and to warn others its not about the money for me it is about they operate They will go out or they wont go out in bad weather but you are going to pay for it anyway Beware
