This area of Charleston is a beautiful spot on the waterfront and will showcase incredible southern-style mansions, oak trees, palmettos, statues, cannons and cannon balls, and marvelous views of Fort Sumter, Castle Pinckney, and the Sullivan Island Lighthouse at a distance.

We had a great overview of Charleston on the “See it all” tour. We learned a lot and appreciated being dropped off in the Market section at the end. Be aware that when you arrive at the visitor center you do have to pay for parking on top of the tickets. They make it really easy and convenient with the a text to pay program.
