Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview
This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

The whole process couldn't be easier. Our guide, Eric, was friendly, helpful, a great teacher, and seemed very knowledgeable about the wildlife. It was safe and fun and good exercise and we even got to see dolphins!

Aloha Megan, Eric has been a guide with us for 10 years and we couldn't be happier to have him on our team! So glad you got to see dolphins and had a great time!

My favorite part was actually learning to paddle board for the first time. JD was an excellent instructor who was patient, enthusiastic, and a knowledgeable tour guide.

Aloha, Thanks for the great review about JD and he's stoked to teach new clients how to SUP. We always take about 15 minutes before every safari to teach the basics in ground school before we hit the water. Look forward to getting y'all on the water next time.

Eric was an epic guide - so helpful, accommodating, and taught me a ton about the eco system! He accommodated all levels of experience and comfort. I went by myself and immediately felt a part of the group. I highly recommend!

Aloha Sarah, Thanks for the great review on Eric, he's our most senior guide and loves teaching everyone how to SUP! He's also a wealth of knowledge about the whole ecosystem on the Folly River as well as a stand up guy Haha. Come on back again solo or with your crew.
