Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview

This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

My daughter and I did the morning dolphin safari. Had an awesome time! Eric, our tour guide, did a great job explaining SUP to those who were new to the activity. He also did a great job describing the ecosystem along the river as we paddled. Would definitely recommend Charleston SUP Safari

Ashley Ann was amazing. Her knowledge of SUP and the ecosystem of the river made for a perfect trip. We were three firsttimers and she gave us the instructions we needed but kept it casual and fun. We will definitely do this again with other visitors.

This was awesome . I was a little worried how well our 8 year old would do but the tour guide made her (and us) feel comfortable on the water. Lots of great memories.
