Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview
This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

For our first time on stand up paddle boards, it was an awesome experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the feel, and it was rather simple. Our guide was very nice, explained everything thoroughly and he was very well versed in the activity and sights. We did spot some dolphins, and saw several brown pelicans diving for fish. Early morning was still relatively cool and overcast, so it made for a fun time!

Aloha, Thanks for sharing your experience SUPing on the Folly River with us. The Morning Dolphin Safari is great because you can get out on the water in the morning when the temperature is cooler and the winds are usually calmer. Our guides love their jobs and look forward to taking y'all next time. Mahalo, Jon

We had the best time. Our guide (Devon) gave us full beginners SUP lessons. He was well organized and taught us something we didn’t know from the moment he started. Our oldest daughter had a moment and panicked and he towed her half way through the tour. On our break he taught the kids all about the eco system and the dolphins and birds etc that live there. (Yes we saw multiple dolphins right next to where we were.) Most importantly our kids cant wait to do it again. This is a must do for an active family.

Aloha, Thanks for all of your positive feedback on your Dolphin Safari. Devon has been guiding clients to dolphins and awesome experiences for the past 2 summers with us and he loves it. Bring the whole family back for more smiles and dolphins! Jon
