Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview

This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

Wonderful experience! The captain had a great knowledge of the waters and area from pre Civil War to now. He went out of his way to make the journey really memorable..he brought us to a Civil War re-enactment! Very special indeed. If I am ever back in Folley Beach, I will be sure to tour the waters with Charleston Sup Safaris again.

We had an awesome Sunday morning tour with Jon and Trey. They got us loosened up and laughing and having a good time. Paddle boarding is a fun active sport! I recommend trying it out while your in Charleston and for sure check out Charleston SUP Safaris. Jon might even be wearing a pair of short pink KY shorts!!! Ha ha ha : )
