Lynlee was the best tour guide ever, really going above and beyond! She chased the Northern Lights for us and was FULL of great Alaska knowledge. She was flexible about the plans and I felt very safe in her capable hands! Can't recommend her enough.

We had a wonderful trip with Dave on the Hot Springs Tour. He was very engaging and extremely knowledgeable. Guided us on the tour from the Ice Museum (so cool!), Hot Springs (skip in the indoor pools and go STRAIGHT to the outside pool). Even in the 19 degree weather it was totally worth being cold for the second it took to get from the hall to the actual pool. You can make a snow ball within the pool-how neat! The restaurant that is at Chena Lodge is great--I recommend the tomato soup and grilled cheese. After getting out of the springs it started snowing lightly. Dave drove great in the snow and some of us lost hope that we would see the lights. Dave did NOT. He stopped on the side of the road to see where there would be an opening in the sky and took us North. That didn't quite work so we tried West. BOOM, LIGHTS! The whole van lit up with excitement. I highly recommend this company and recommend Dave if you can! Mahalo from Maui, Dave!

I was not on a tour although, I really enjoyed the soak in the springs! We stayed in TOO long and we were water logged and had a hard time getting out! We had a close encounter with a female moose who decided to come down and peek over the wall into the pool where we were floating! It was truly a sight to behold! I will never forget it as long as I live! She walked the length of the wall and then walked up the hill into the woods! WOW!!! You may not get many photos ..there is NO where to lay your belongings!

Hello Christine, it is amazing that you had such a close encounter with a moose. It sounds awesome and i bet that many people wish to be able to see this. There are actually lockers before you enter the Hot springs, where you can lock all of your belongings up. You only need 2 quarters for that. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit to Alaska, kind regards, Sylvia
