I had a lot of fun! Iā€™ve lived here my whole life, but the tour guide took us to places in Chinatown Iā€™ve never been before, like the Chinese Opera House. Every place really stuck out that he took us to because he had a great story for each location. The tour guide was really funny, great storyteller and loves questions.

If you like learning about the history of various NYC neighborhoods, don't miss this tour! Learning about the 1982 strike of garment workers in Chinatown was fascinating and Dan does a wonderful job of bringing history to life. He also gives part of his proceeds to non-profit organizations with whom he collaborates so you are also doing a good deed! This is an exciting one-of-a-kind tour; you'll love it!

We were part of a small group because it was a really hot day, which turned out to be a great experience because Daniel Katz tailored the tour to our interests and knowledge level. He was very informed about the 1982 strike, ILGWU, Chinatown, and related topics, and he answered all our questions. He's also a really engaging storyteller with an eye for what stories are important history to tell. He has a true love for history, and it shows.
