Our family of 5 booked the Premier Access and it was worth every penny! Skipped the lines and had excellent service and great views. Our guide was very informative. Definitely the highlight of our trip!

This is the way to see Manhattan from the water. We were lucky to have perfect weather and as the sun went down it was magical to see Manhattan light up before our eyes. The ship timed it perfectly for us to be alongside the Statue of Liberty as she lit up which sent a wave of awe around the passengers! The commentary on board was very interesting and informative - not just about the obvious points of interest. Everything was well organised despite the boat being full. Quite a queue for refreshments before we set off as only one lady was serving but she was calm and efficient. Once the boat set sail there were no queues and you could still see the sights from the refreshment counter as there are massive windows. Would advise getting to the pier in plenty of time - we were there an hour before - then you can be nearer the front of the queue. If you have a printed ticket or voucher make sure you ask if that needs to be exchanged for a ticket from the kiosk. We were told that we needed to do that and as we were there early there was no queue at the kiosk. Another lady we spoke to had been told that her printed ticket was ok and she didn’t need to exchange it so there doesn’t seem to be a hard and fast rule around that so double check when you arrive at the pier. No complaints at all about this experience and would recommend it. A relaxing way to see Manhattan.
