First off, if you book go from Pier 6, not 16, here is why. We arrived early because this was our first stop on a long day. Our ticket time was 1100 and the boat pulled up at that time empty and then left to go to pier 6 to pick up passengers but not us. Some idiot at pier 6 let on 1100 and 1200 passengers so the boat was full when it came back to pier 16. They rescheduled us for 1200, which caused us to miss other tours we had booked causing us a bad vacation day. When the boat arrived at 1215 the pier 6 people had taken all of the upper deck good seats or window seats so anyone from pier 16 got the worst seats. It wasn't till we got to the Statue of Liberty that they opened a front area on the boat that we could actually see anything. This part was good, and the tour guide was great, but this should have never happened.

We loved this. The boat was clean and well-kept. The restrooms were very clean. The commentary was perfect --- provided enough quality information to keep our attention for the first half and then was silent for the second half allowing us to chat and enjoy the rest of the ride. Would definitely return on another visit if we feel the need to see the Statue of Liberty again.
