Please NOTE ALL 8 a.m. tours depart from your dock. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of departure time. Don't forget your Passports! 1130 and 230 pm City Summit - departs from Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium, located at 485 Broadway Avenue, Skagway, AK 99840 (see map below). Please plan to arrive at our office 30 minutes early. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Collapsible non-electric wheelchairs/walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
US and Canadian Citizens: Must bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of citizenship (US birth certificate or naturalization certificate) or a passport for re-entry to the United States. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate
Non-US Citizens: Either a Passport, I-94, Multiple Entry Visa or Resident Alien Card is required for re-entry to the United States

The bus takes you through Skagway and stops at several places for pictures. It then takes you up to the summit and over the Canadian border into the Artic Tundra. It was very interesting to see the 300 year old trees that are only chest high due to the weather conditions. We did not see any bears on our trip as the temperatures were breaking all the records - 80 degrees- but were told that it is very common to see them especially during the afternoon tour.

Not impressed with our guide or the bus. Air conditioning an issue on an extremely warm day. The audio system could be much better---very difficult to hear. On a positive note, the driver did drive us back to the cruise ship pier.

This was an excellent tour up into the mountains via Skagway. It provided a good overview and history of the town and the views from and on the mountains were breathtaking.
