Great tour guides and great value. Wonderful way to get the highlights of the City. Definitely get off and on often, not only to experience the wonderful City, but also to get treated to different personalities and perspectives from the excellent guides. We had 2 gentlemen whose names I unfortunately don’t recall, but the first had been a teacher, and that really showed in the historical information he shared. Our 2nd male guide was also very knowledgeable and shared impromptu information when asked questions. Zelda and Telly were our last guide and driver and I really appreciated Zelda’s tidbits of knowledge.

Firstly, it was an horrendous day in terms of weather and very difficult conditions. The route of the tour was both interesting and well explained however it was the general attitude of our tour guide as one of a person who has been doing it for years and happy to just go through the motions(‘I am the star of this show’j. The people on the upper deck could hear none of the commentary, but this didn’t seem to concern ‘Pam’ who was happy just to direct everything to those in eyesight and not worry about half of her customers. In fact it was a little bit ‘all about Pam’. This should not deter people from going on the tour, but maybe guides like Pam should understand that almost all the people on the tour are experiencing this for the first time, not 10 years in a row, therefore enthusiasm levels should be more than just regurgitation.

my sightseeing experience was great while in New Orleans, the buses were always available and guides were very helpful, will us Viator on my next trip.
