Warren & Ross will rock your socks off! Hysterical, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about each guests’ experience. I’ve used CitySightSeeing hop-on hop-off busses all over the world, Warren was, hands down, the best guide I’ve ever had. I didn’t want the tour to end, Warren has made Philly-lover our of me!

Let’s start with redeeming our online passes. Walked to the nearest stop - as instructed - the lady said we had to go to stop 1 to redeem the passes. The passes could not be redeemed anywhere else. Told us it was about five minute walk. After a 10 block twenty minute walk we found stop 1. Stop 1 and 2 were not in use that day due to a festival. The lady at stop 1 said we could have redeemed the passes anywhere and the walk was unnecessary. She was going to call the First Lady and let her know that people did not need to walk to stop 1. After redeeming our passes we had to walk four more blocks to find stop 3 to get the bus. I am handicapped (but don’t require a wheelchair or special accommodations) but I can’t walk long distances without frequent stops - hence why we choose to use a hop on hop off bus service. Throughout the day the buses were terrible. They frequently missed the stops - then they would pull over 2-4 blocks past the stop and let you out , leaving you to walk several blocks back to your destination. Buses ran infrequently leaving you waiting up to 20 min at the stops. Yet at the starting point - stop three that day - there were three empty uses waiting to be told go. We used their map to find stops but part of them were wrong. The stop would be up to a block away. You had to really look for their signs they are small and easy to miss. One bus had the air conditioner on - the rest did not. Only one bus - Ernest and Tito was interesting- they were great, knowledgeable and fun. The rest of the buses were dull and didn’t know how to stop and let people off where the map indicated. It was clear they weren’t interested in their jobs. Bus 62 was the worst. The driver missed stop 21 antiques row - they stopped at 22 and told us that was our stop like we didn’t have sense enough to know the difference. It would also have been a fun thing had they told us most of those shops are closed on Sunday. We wouldn’t have walked four blocks back to the previous then another four through closed antique row and four blocks to catch the bus. The tour guide got off the bus and began to yell at people behind them who were blowing the horn because the bus was blocking the toad because they do t stop where they are supposed to. Last time we used the competitors service and it was great - I would recommend not using this service.

A great way to learn about a city you are visiting for the first time. Tour guides vary in style and knowledge. Hopping off and on allows you to hear different perspectives.
