We were briefly visiting Sarasota for the first time, and as we usually do, sought a tour which would provide an introduction to the area. This tour met those needs in spades! Interesting background information on an area perceived as a "playground" and now maturing into a commercial center as well. Our guide shared a wealth of information on Sarasota proper, and its key cultural highlights, giving us a good sense for additional exploration. The trolley was comfortable as we meandered for 90 minutes, enjoying non-stop education on the city's history, including architectural highlights.
