New to Sarasota, I happened upon this DELIGHTFUL, INSIGHTFUL, NARRATED tour of my new home and SO glad I did. With me was a 20+ year "veteran" of the area, and she was absolutely surprised by all the new information she learned. The owner, Tammy, greeted us and Steve, a lifelong resident, actor, musician, was our narrator. 90 minutes of fabulous fun facts and stories of long ago and current Sarasota. Easy parking. Great gift shop filled with Florida fun. HIGHLY recommend this for all! ENJOY.

We enjoyed our tour, but because the operators were on vacation for the beginning of our vacation week, we did the tour the day before our departure. Definitely recommend that you do this tour first so that you get an idea of places to go and things to see while you visit Sarasota. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The 90 minutes was just the right amount of time for adults. Probably too long for little kids. Sarasota is an interesting city that is worth learning about. All that said, I think the price seems a little bit high. Perhaps you could find a coupon.

We went with friends on the city tour given by Steve. Even though we live here, we learned a lot about the downtown area. Steveā€™s knowledge of restaurants, the arts, the ringlings was very good and he had a humorous edge which made it fun. The trolley was comfy and they gave you bottled water. We will definitely go on their other tours!
