Had a wonderful time. Easy to get to the Trolley location. Leave time for Breakfast at the quaint restaurant behind the Tour Center. Steve McCallister was a great tour guide. A local, very knowledgeable and has lived in almost every old house in Sarasota. He is also an actor an has performed in many of the venues that he describes on the tour. Funny as well. The best thing about this tour is that you will see places that you want to go back and visit more in depth. Not only the museums educational institutions homes etc but the downtown restaurants and shopping in Lido. Take the tour you won't regret it.

Our guied was a native of Sarasota and shared a lot of personal history about the growth of Sarasota, he was well spoken and intertaining. We were never bored and the bus driver shared interesting things also. Really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

I recently participated in the City Sightseeing Tour and thoroughly enjoyed the excursion! We discovered places we never knew about, while riding on an open air trolley! The guide and driver were knowledgeable and friendly and made for a perfect morning riding around town. I'd definitely recommend to visitors and locals alike! I've been coming to Sarasota for almost 40 years and never realized there was so much to see. This overview was a nice introduction to places worth going back to and visiting in more depth. A lovely way to spend an hour and a half! No walking required! As a bonus, there is a little breakfast/lunch spot right behind the building, so I would suggest capping off your tour with lunch there!
