Clear Kayak Bioluminescence Tour

Overview
Why clear bottom kayaks? Our continued commitment to maintaining safety within our immersive experiences has led us to these technologically advanced kayaks, a finely crafted and mesmerizing new model of kayak. The Innovex material is not glass, but a highly durable plastic composite, like the overhead cock pits of fighter jets. The clear-bottom kayak does not simply lay a window panel under you, but rather a fully-formed inlay of Innovex allows water (and so bioluminescence) to rise around you, preserving the full experience without compromising paddler safety.

We were scheduled for the 10:45 pm tour Saturday July 16. When we arrived there was no sign for a Day away kayaks we wandered through a dark field asking strangers if they were with the company. We finally came across Chaz who was the furthest away in the field with no light or sign or table of any kind to get people signed in. He asked our name and we waited at 10:50 pm he spoke to the group that had assembled and said that he would now be checking people in and his associate haily would be passing out glow sticks. From this point it took at least 45 min before we got to get into the water. I found this whole process extremely unorganized. If you have a 10:45 pm tour then from the time of 10:15 to 10:45 people should be getting checked in handed life vests, glow sticks and assigned a kayak so that at 10:45 pm we good be getting in the water. It wasnā€™t until right before we were getting kayaks did we find out that there was actually 3 team members there. With 3 team members the process should be a lot more organized it just seamed that they didnā€™t know what was going on. Once we were on the water the tour improved and we had a great time paddling around and playing in the bioluminescence and holding comb jellyā€™s. The getting out process went a lot smoother but company should really invest in a light, sign and table and a set of pre tour process so that the guides and customers know whatā€™s going on. Most people had arrived by 10:15 pm there is no reason we shouldnā€™t have been on the water at 10:45 . Overall the bioluminescence was amazing and loved that just need to get more organized

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was the best experience ever! Our tour guide, Josh, was extremely knowledgeable about any and all questions the group threw at him. It was absolutely worth paying extra for the clear kayak. As you paddle, the water passing under you looks like glimmering stars.

This was a magical experience! I was afraid my arms would be sore the next day but hardly. It was so easy and beautiful to see the bioluminescence. Our guide was informative about the area and wildlife. If you want pictures, bring a good phone with camera, my daughter's did not capture anything. We are planning to do this again soon.
