Minutes from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs State Park mermaids see the river from a whole new perspective with this kayaking tour! Ride in a clear kayak- which has the advantage of greater visibility of the underwater world. Kayak quiet and calm coastal waters before paddling up the active and beautiful spring-fed waters of the river. Be on the lookout for wildlife like manatees, turtles, fish, birds and much more! A great adventure for beginners but we do paddle upstream for the first half of the tour, which is a great workout and worth the drift paddle back to the launch site. Your guide will stop for pics along the away! Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as this iconic river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on! We stay in our kayaks for the duration of the tour. Please remember the river and wildlife is subject to daily changes in behavior and conditions. All kayaks are tandem. Weight limit of 250lbs per seat and 425lbs per kayak.

Lisa, our tour person was magnificent. She provided clear instructions to the beginners (us); she was clear on the expectations. Lisa has an abundance amount of knowledge of this area; we learned so much from her. We will be booking future trips and hopefully get Lisa again.

We saw a ton of manatees!! Davis was an awesome guide and Taylor was there as well. They were both knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. This is a “No stop” tour- you don’t get on and off, so be sure to use the restroom and drink your coffee beforehand. It’s a full 2.5 hours of beautiful views!!! If you need a drink along the way, bring a non disposable container. Bring your camera!
