Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

We missed our appointment time because of heavy, heavy traffic and they wouldn’t let us take the next time slot so we lost all the money!

The staff was very knowledgeable and si an excellent job with the tour! We saw Dolphins right away! It was a nice open boat with room to move around. Smooth ride!

The crew of Dylan and his partner were fabulous and gave lots of interesting facts about the area. They also ensured that we saw dolphins which isn't a guarantee. It was a nice break to stop at "One Tree Island"to look for shells. It's a very comfortable boat ride for anyone and everyone. I thought it was well organized and we (four adults) felt we got a great value.
