Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

This tour delivered! Our guides were knowledgeable and ensured that we did see dolphins while on the water. As a plus, they worked with an other tour operator to allow both cruises to have fun watching dolphins play in the wake of one of the boats. There were several families with children on board and would recommend this operator for family groups of all ages. The island stop was nice and gave kids a chance to look for treasure. On the return to the dock, they gave a tour of surrounding celebrity homes and continued to spot dolphins in the water. Would recommend for a fun time.

We saw dolphins within the first 5 minutes of the cruise. The captain and the first mate were great! They kept us informed and entertained the while cruise. More than just a dolphin watch, got some sightseeing and a visit to a private island as well.
