Absolutely delightful 2 days spent exploring Colonial Williamsburg and even met Mrs. Martha Washington herself! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the armory and talking to each master, journeyman or apprentice we came in contact with. I was very disappointed about not being about to go inside some of the buildings but I also knew that before we went so I had accepted it as such. Some hidden gems for us was the Capital Tour, the courthouse tour and Magazine as well. We learned alot from the people who were at each of those places. Also look for the tinsmith and the silversmith, both very knowledgeable and happy to share. One last thing if you have the time to see the Indian Interpretation and the story by Marquis Lafayette please do so, they were magnificently well done.

Not the best experience since almost everything was closed. I visited on a Monday and there were no food options open right in the square. All of the Taverns were closed. The staff that were there were friendly. It was very hard to hear the tour guides since they were wearing masks. I feel they should have been able to remove them while talking to us and maintain a distance of 6 feet. Sorry, but not worth the admission.

Even with the Covid restrictions we had a wonderful time visiting the shops and checking out the area.
